Parent-Child Sorting on Planning and Taskboard

    Description

      We upgraded our JIRA test system to 4.01 with GreenHopper 4.2.1. We imported the data from our production system (JIRA 3.13, GreenHopper 3.7.1) using XML import.

      On the Planning and Taskboard parent and child issues are now not sorted properly any longer. Parent tasks are on top and child tasks at the bottom (list view).

      After consulting the support area we tried the following steps with no success:

      (1) Checked sorting, sorted by rank
      (2) Optimize/repair ranking field
      (3) Restarted JIRA directly after importing
      (4) Removed and then added rank for sorting

      Any ideas what we might do wrong?
