Description
The current documentation requires a user to have project permissions:
- 'Edit Issue'
- 'Schedule Issue'
If a user has these permissions and does not have 'Administer Projects' permission the issue will be created, but it will not provide the additional link in the temp. pop-up to 'Add to <sprint name>'. Instead it will be added to the backlog.
Adding the permission to 'Administer Projects' does allow the 'Add to <sprint name> dialog to be shown.
Without the permission a user can still move the issue from backlog into the active sprint, confirming the functionality and permission does exist.
Examples attached of failed event, manual event and successful event (with additional permission).
Workaround:
Manually schedule from 'Backlog' to 'Sprint' in Plan mode
or
Add 'Administer Projects' permission to necessary users
