Advanced search with 'Search HEAD only' ignores branch parameter in git repositories

Search can be restricted by a specific branch:

Search query on branch.

I can see all the revisions that happened on that branch:

However, when I select "Search HEAD only", I get all the files, not only the ones that were modified on that branch:
