      Some URL's referenced in the document Securing Bitbucket Server behind nginx using SSL do not reflect what these URL's should actually be set to, therefore the following need to be changed:

      Under "Step 2: Set a context path for Bitbucket Server"

      Change from:

      For the example configuration on this page, we want Bitbucket Server to be accessed at:

      https://mycompany.com:7990/bitbucket

      to:

      For the example configuration on this page, we want Bitbucket Server to be accessed at:

      https://mycompany.com/bitbucket

      Under "Step 3: Change Bitbucket Server's base URL"

      Change from:

      For this example, use http://mycompany.com:7990/bitbucket (Note the context path included with this.)

      to:

      For this example, use http://mycompany.com/bitbucket (Note the context path included with this.)
