Allow global credentials for repository authentication

Currently authentication must be configured for each repository.

If the same credentials are used for hundreds of repositories and customers need to update them, this will require a lot of manual work.

It would be much better if it were possible to save these credentials somewhere in order to update them once and for all repositories that use them.
