Description
This is regression introduced in FishEye/Crucible 3.0. In previous releases if repository permissions were configured to allow access to anonymous users, that was automatically applied to all logged in users too. Apparently this works in 3.3 no more if Global Anonymous Access is turned off.
The UI still shows that logged users have access, see:
but in reality their access will be denied if they try to access a repository:
Permission denied You are not allowed to access the repository XXX.
The issue occurs regardless if the permissions were set individually on particular repository, or if the repository was configured to user default repository permissions and default permissions were set to grant access to anonymous user
Workaround
For the time being depending on your circumstances and expected access policy, consider:
- switch on global anonymous access if appropriate in your environment, or
- tick off anonymous user access in Repository Permissions (or Repository Default Permissions if using default permissions ) and grant access to Logged in Users or users from selected groups
