FishEye SVN Indexing Fails When Filenames Have Control Characters

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

FishEye behaves strangely when indexing (SVN) files with non-printable characters in their filenames. The characters are converted as UTF and the indexing stops.

The following can be seen in the logs:

      Repository paused due to error com.cenqua.fisheye.rep.DbException: Problem getting diff information for rev120500 com.cenqua.fisheye.svn.diff.SvnDiffException: Exception processing diff for revision 120500 com.cenqua.fisheye.rep.RepositoryClientException: org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: svn: E170000: URL 'https://www.acme.com/svn/repos/wcoyote/components/rrunner-catcher/trunk/src/main/unix/scripts/exit%0A' non-existent in revision 120,500 org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: svn: E170000: URL 'https://www.acme.com/svn/repos/wcoyote/components/rrunner-catcher/trunk/src/main/unix/scripts/exit%0A' non-existent in revision 120,500 org.tmatesoft.svn.core.SVNException: svn: E170000: URL 'https://www.acme.com/svn/repos/wcoyote/components/rrunner-catcher/trunk/src/main/unix/scripts/exit%0A' non-existent in revision 120,500

Note "%0A" at the end of the filename.
