Connect to JIRA URLs without http:// result in horrible error messages

    Description

      In the setup wizard, if you enter a JIRA URL without a "http://" prefix, you get the error message in the attached screenshot.

      Extremely confusing, and likely to generate a heap of support calls, especially since browsers like Chrome remove the http://, meaning that copy + paste will cause problems.
