As a Marketplace developer, I would like to choose the style of macro placeholders

Since April 2024, Confluence has introduced a new style for Macro placeholders which removes the gray backdrop as well making the separators more subtle.

As a developer, I would like the ability to choose which appearance of the placeholders my app would use, by means of descriptor/manifest files, so that I can craft the experience as it best fits my app.

We need this badly - your new "innovations" around live edits and making the macro placeholders with a transparent background are very confusing (especially for customer who migrate from server to cloud)

Please implement this and let us have OLD way of rendering the macro placeholders!

This comes extremely handy for customers who migrate from server to cloud and expect a familiar experience. And we have spend years trying to offer them that.

New editor with this "new experience" around macros and the way the placeholders are rendered is just "way too much" for them to handle.

What we see is that they end up using the legacy editor instead...
