Receive the "User Encryption Algorithms must match between directories" error when attempting to import from LDAP to Crowd Internal directory.

[CWD-947] Cannot import from AD into Crowd Internal Directory (not delegated)

We can't import from AD to an Internal Directory, as there's no way to get user's passwords out of AD.

See linked issues around documenting this better and making sure the UI doesn't let you attempt combinations that will fail.

Few thoughts after my chat with Justin:

            1. If a source is selected, only display targets that can be imported into.
            2. Indicate the encryption method on each selected directory.
            3. Perhaps import from AD w/o passwords and auto-gen for Crowd since we can't import passwords from AD?

can you confirm that they are actually using the same encryption algorithms ?

ie you setup an internal directory to use SSHA, SHA etc.
