Crowd Azure integration doesn't work for tenants using non-default api URLs

Some tenants have specific endpoints URIs which are impossible to configure in Crowd, which makes Crowd Azure Active Directory integration unusable.

This affects for example customers using Azure Germany - https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/azuregermany/2016/08/18/endpoints-in-microsoft-cloud-germany/

[CWD-5000] Crowd Azure integration doesn't work for tenants using non-default api URLs

Crowd 3.2.0 containing this feature is available now

This will be available in the upcoming Crowd 3.2.0 version. There is an EAP build available right now for early testers.

If this feature is crucial for you and you can't wait for its implementation in Crowd's Azure AD native connector, you might want to take a look at the ODCC plugin (Office 365 Directory Connector for Crowd) which does support Azure AD in Microsoft Cloud Germany: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.cleito.odcc/server/overview

Disclaimer: I work for the vendor of the ODCC plugin

Other tools - like Ansible Azure Modules (http://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/guide_azure.html) - do support setting the environment by an additional parameter (e.g.) AZURE_CLOUD_ENVIRONMENT. The Crowd configuration screen for Azure AD should be enhanced for a similar method to select the environment to use.
