Currently the Apache module has no caching implemented, we will need to investigate the implementation of some form of caching, possibly (http://perl-cache.sourceforge.net/) to help improve the performance of Apache and Subversion integration.

This will be a blocker for a lot of people looking at using Subversion with TortoiseSVN as their 'viewer', since TortoiseSVN makes many queries against SVN, and thus LDAP.
