Show details of synchronisation failure in the user interface

When synchronisation fails, Crowd currently shows a generic message:

Synchronisation failed (see Crowd server logs for details)

It would be better to include some details of the failure, such as the top-level exception. Some failure reasons are common enough that we could refer directly to support documentation.
