Crowd 2.2.0m5
Apache Directory Server 1.5
- Add an LDAP directory to Crowd
- Go to the groups tab and add a new Group to the LDAP directory that was just added.
Expected: Group to be created and propagated to LDAP server
Actual: Error occurs
Note: I can add groups directly from applications that use Crowd Server as their directory and that action propagates fine to LDAP server.
[LDAP: error code 21 - INVALID_ATTRIBUTE_SYNTAX: failed for Add Request : ClientEntry dn: cn=crowdgroup, ou=groups,ou=system objectClass: groupOfUniqueNames uniqueMember: uid=admin,ou=system cn: crowdgroup description: : ERR_280 Attribute value {0} for attribute {1} is syntactically incorrect]; nested exception is javax.naming.directory.InvalidAttributeValueException: [LDAP: error code 21 - INVALID_ATTRIBUTE_SYNTAX: failed for Add Request : ClientEntry dn: cn=crowdgroup, ou=groups,ou=system objectClass: groupOfUniqueNames uniqueMember: uid=admin,ou=system cn: crowdgroup description: : ERR_280 Attribute value {0} for attribute {1} is syntactically incorrect]; remaining name 'cn=crowdgroup, ou=groups,ou=system'
