URGENT - Unable to delete topics (suggest workaround) - going live

We installed the Questions Add-on and created 4 topics in a space. We realized that the topics are available in all the space and we wanted to go live today but have disabled the add-on.
Is there a way to delete a topic? There has to be a way!
Will uninstalling the add-on remove everything and re-installing allow us to carefully design.
Are there things that need attention while uninstalling?
Could you please have a section called limitations and add such things for 1st time users
