Confluence has restrictions with velocity methods in User Macros after version 9.0, as described in the documentation below;
The logs should be monitored by the administrator to fetch the missing method list, and it can be complex for management. It would be great to see these missing methods on the UI (https://<BASE-URL>/admin/usermacros.action) for the saved User Macros like velocity keys.
