      Summary

Monitor security threats feature is shipped from Confluence 9.1 and later.

While it is possible to include non-admin users into security-monitoring-alerts group (or any other custom groups set via the plugin.lighthouse.security.group.name system property) to receive email notifications about the alerts, non-admin users are not able to access the Security Alert menu to further manage the alerts:

      • <Confluence_Base_URL>/plugins/servlet/lighthouse
This page currently only accessible by user granted with the System Administrator Global Permission

      Suggestion

Allow specific non-admin group to access and manage the Security Alerts page, such as setting the Status of the alerts.

      Why this is Important

Some organisation may have dedicated security team that does not require access to other Confluence admin permission while still being appropriate to manage the status of the security alerts in Confluence.
