Users should be able to link to comments internally using anchor syntax A Comment

At present, users must create an external link using the full permalink, eg

      A Comment

Unless you have a suggestion for a better wiki markup for comment links, we'll close it as "Won't fix".

Actually, you link to comments using their comment ID and the ID-based linking syntax.

For example, if the comment's permalink is:

            ../keyspace/Eclipse?focusedCommentId=232366#comment-232366

Then you can enter a link like this:

            [$232366]

            This is documented here:

I am trying to link to the permalink for a comment.

            If the permalink is:
            ../keyspace/Eclipse?focusedCommentId=232366#comment-232366

            And I use the markup:
            comment

            I expect (at least):
            ../keyspace/Eclipse#comment-232366

            But get:
            .../keyspace/Eclipse#Eclipse-comment232366

A "nice to have" would be to have the highlighting there. But I think it's bug how it is currently handling it.

It should also be possible to link to a page without needing the focusedCommentId parameter as per normal anchors, permitting a full link of

            http://localhost:8080/display/ds/Confluence+Overview#comment-123
