      Confluence should be tested with Java 1.6 to identify and resolve any issues. If testing is successful, please incorporate Java 1.6 as an officially supported JVM.

            Confluence 2.7 is officially supporting Java 6 (see release notes at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+2.7+Release+Notes). We just forgot to update this issue in time, so I am resolving it now.
