Enable Personal Access Tokens for non-REST paths

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

    Description

      Expected Results

PATs should work for all URLs within Confluence. They should allow authentication for REST API (/rest/...), for custom servlets (/plugins/servlet/...), or for any other feature such as RSS feeds (/feeds/...).

      Actual Results

Currently Personal Access Tokens only work for REST API. For other URLs it's still necessary to use Basic Authentication.
