Description
Issue Summary
According to OpenID Connect for Atlassian Data Center applications, OpenID Connect ("OIDC") is built in to Confluence 7.3 and newer. That's not actually the case. The binaries I tested shipped with atlassian-authentication-plugin-3.2.1.jar, which doesn't include the OIDC option.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Confluence DC 7.3+
- Run over SSL
- Navigate to SSO 2.0 screen
- Select the "OpenID Connect single sign-on" option
Expected Results
You can select and save the OIDC configuration
Actual Results
The OIDC option does not exist
Workaround
Install version 4.0.1+ of the SSO for Atlassian Server and Data Center plugin (for Data Center):
- Stop Confluence
- Replace the existing plugin with version 4.0.1+ at confluence-installation-directory/confluence/WEB-INF/atlassian-bundled-plugins
- Restart Confluence
