After some analysis we've found that this issue has been duplicated by the issue at CONFSERVER-57949 - Changing the color of links in Confluence pages does not reflect on the links once the page is published. This is a current and verified bug in Confluence, please watch that issue for further updates and more detailed workarounds.
Issue Summary
When saving a page, Confluence removes text coloring on links to Confluence pages.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the editor
- Insert a link to another page
- Highlight the link
- In the text color picker in the editor toolbar, change the color of the link
- Click Update to save the page
Expected Results
The page is saved with the link colored as it was in the editor.
Actual Results
The published page shows the link as the default link color. Re-opening the editor also shows the text as default link color.
Notes
- Can reproduce in Confluence 6.15.4, but not in 6.8.0
- Does not affect links to external URLs
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
