Captcha for Spam Prevention not working for Logged in Users on Edit and Create a page

      Summary

      Captcha for Spam Prevention not working for Logged in Users while Editing and Creating a Page.
      When Spam Prevention is turned on in Confluence, there will be Captcha required for the actions below:

      • Sign up for an account.
      • Add a comment.
      • Create a page.
      • Edit a page.
      • Send a request to the Confluence administrators.

      Only Create and Edit a page is affected by this bug

      Environment

      Confluence 6.7.2

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to > General Configuration > Spam Prevention
      2. Set the Spam Prevention to On
      3. Set Exclusions to No one (everyone will see captchas)

      Expected Results

      Logged in users are required to pass the captcha by entering the correct text shown in the picture before creating or editing a page

      Actual Results

      Logged in users are able to create or edit a page regardless if the captcha text is entered correctly or not entering anything in the captcha field at all.

      Note

      Anonymous users however, will need to pass the captcha in order to create or edit a page
