Keyboard shortcuts for text alignment

      It doesn't seem to be possible to change the text alignment using the keyboard in the RTE. I'd expect ctrl-L, ctrl-E and ctrl-R to work as they do in standard word processing applications, but this is not the case.

      I can't see the text-alignment options listed at all in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog either..

            As a Macbook User I stumbled upon this shortcut for centering the text --> CMD + Option + E, are there also shortcuts for left and right?

            Why stop at text alignment?  All functionality should accessible from the keyboard.

            I am shocked to see that it's 2022, COVID has come and now almost gone, and yet here we are in a world where Confluence still has no basic keyboard shortcut for Center alignment.

            I feel the same as most others.  This is an essential feature.  I use the center button quite often when creating data tables.  It would greatly improve my workflow if I could use a shortcut rather than have to click the button each time.

            This small feature really should have been implemented years ago. I do not understand how standard word processing short cuts are not included from the get go, for the type of service you sell!?

            working on tables and having to click a button time after time, once per cell, it's terrible user experience.

            Please introduce this feature ASAP! It is annoying to break the flow of writing just to click on the toolbar button.

            Formatting in tables warrants constant use of the center alignment button and it would be nice to have a shortcut. I don't see this as very difficult to implement, so I definitely give this my vote.
