Description
Summary
When a new table is added to a page using Confluence on IE 11, some changes will not be shown until the "Update" or "Preview" button is pressed. The behavior is presented regardless of Collaborative Editing being enabled.
Environment
- IE11
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Confluence with IE 11
- Create a table to your page
- Fill the first cell with some text.
- Use tabulator to move to other cell. This is important! If you use mouse when moving to next cell there will be no issue.
- Type text to the new cell, the cursor won't move and cell seems to stay empty. With tab you can move the cursor to next cells but the typed text will not be shown. If you change the cell with mouse and type some text the new text will be shown.
- Press "update". The hidden changes you made to the cell will be shown.
Expected Results
The text will show up as it is typed
Actual Results
The cell remains blank and the content is only displayed when previewing or saving the page.
Workaround
Use the arrow keys or mouse to change cells.
