Description
Summary
If a link to anchor on a page has a Link Text that is identical to the page title, this text will not be saved. The text will revert to the name of the anchor rather than the chosen display text name upon page save.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a Confluence page entitled "clickme"
- Create an anchor with the Anchor Macro. Call it "foo"
- On the same page, create a link to the anchor using Insert Link > Advanced:
- Set Link field to "#foo"
- Set Link Text field to "clickme"
- Insert the link and save the page
Expected behavior
There is a link with display text "clickme" which links to the anchor
Actual behavior
There is a link with display text "foo" which links to the anchor
Workaround
Ensure that the Link Text field is not set to the same value as the page title.
