    Description

      Summary

Search results don't paginate in Confluence when using a % sign. If you search for "give 100%" for example, and get multiple pages' worth of results, you won't be able to go to the next page in the search results.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create more than 15 pages with the following string in the body "something 100%"
      2. Search for "something 100%"

      Expected Results

Results are displayed, and I can view pages 2 and on or click on 'Next'

      Actual Results

The below error is thrown in the console:

      batch.js?analytics-enabled=true&analytics-uploadable=true&hasConnectAddons=true&hostenabled=true&is…:1104 Uncaught URIError: URI malformed
          at decodeURIComponent (<anonymous>)
          at Object.getQueryStringParams (batch.js?analytics-enabled=true&analytics-uploadable=true&hasConnectAddons=true&hostenabled=true&is…:1104)
          at e.clickPagination (batch.js?analytics-enabled=true&analytics-uploadable=true&hasConnectAddons=true&hostenabled=true&is…:2153)
          at HTMLDivElement.dispatch (batch.js:240)
          at HTMLDivElement.h (batch.js:231)

      Notes

The % sign seems to be the only special character causing this.
