Currently there is no parameter I have found for default zoom level for a calendar embedded into a confluence page.
Specifically I am using timeline view as the default view and it seems to default to all the way zoomed in.

My goal is to plot where epics will likely fall on a timeline which I can do using custom date fields but when the page is viewed the use must zoom all the way out every time the page is viewed.

With a set default zoom to 3 month parameter (or even 6 or 12) the viewer would not be required to manually zoom the timeline out every time and would be viewing the timeline as I intend them to view it.

If the zoom level was remembered for a user they would not have to zoom it out every time, however being able to set the default zoom level from the beginning would also resolve my issue

I'm also chipping this one. We are using it for roadmap purpose as it has much more granuarity than the roadmap feature and not being able to set zoom to quarter level is a downer.

The option to set the default time range for the timeline view is really important to our use cases.

I would like to have it zoomed to show the whole yea by defaultr. Make a setting to choose the default zoom level.

For us it is the opposite - it is showing overview of about 2 months. I would need it to show max 3 days by default.

This is essential functionality for us. We are getting pushback on using the timeline view for roadmaps because of this issue and having to essentially screenprint an overall project view (or give the same press '-' several times to see the full picture, both to new viewers and for viewers who expect that they would see the expanded view when they return to the page)

Screenprinting the expanded view obviously robs us of all of the drill into Jira functionality we hoped moving to the timeline view would provide us.

            I second the above comments.

            As well as the following:
-increased timeline zoom up to two years.
            -ability to zoom with mousewheel
