I have several confluence pages, each describing a project with dates.  These project pages rollup to a parent confluence page with a Project Summary Table with rows, each row has key fields from each project page including end date.  On the parent page we have a GANT macro ... but I really want a confluence calendar macro that takes the data from the Project Summary Table (e.g. Name, EndDate) and displays on a confluence calendar.   I would also want the confluence calendar to change when the data in table changes (again the data in the table is driven by Project Pages)

Do you have this?

We would really be thankfull, if this works. Seems to be a bit old fashioned to add twice the same task...

This would be a very important feature for our system. Because we need to have a calendar of events open all the time with specific tasks on it. Each task needs to be able to be checked off when it is finished and have a date that it got completed along with who completed the task.

I would also love to have this feature.

Tasks in Confluence are handy but will become truly useful when they can show both JIRA issues and Confluence tasks based on due-date.  Our non-Scrum teams feel that JIRA is focused on Scrum teams.  This feature would go a long way toward making them comfortable with the toolset.

I also would love to see this feature. I thought this was a default feature of Confluence and Calendar. I thought it said that when I signed up for Calendar, actually... I'm not sure I can use Calendar without it. I need it for an editorial calendar and a project due date tracker, and with two calendars it won't work.

This would be a great feature as this is something which I thought would be pretty basis when purchasing this plugin. Very disappointed that it doesn't do this already. When is this due to be included please?

This would be great! Even better would be to embed event dates (like with a macro) in pages, so the calendar could pick it up. That way it wouldn't be limited to just tasks.

We have an identical requirement to @Daniel Piechocki above, for management to manage tasks using the ad-hoc task tool and display them in a calendar. Right now we've reverted to using Trello for this, but everything else is in Confluence. Any chance this will make the In Progress list soon? What would Mike and Scott do?

I thought there would be an integration with team calendars for tasks! Since tasks are date driven, this only makes sense. I would also suggest a way to perhaps aggregate tasks and putting the aggregation on the team calendars, since there can be to many tasks on a calendar, it can get messy quickly.

Perhaps give tasks a Title and all of the tasks under that title would appear on the calendar as an item spanning across the min and max dates of the tasks under the title? Click on the item in the calendar and it takes you to the page to see the details, or maybe expand into an overlay, so that it does not take you away from the calendar page. Give a way for the user to click to take them to the page to make edits/view details.

Also time/duration would be wonderful in tasks. I am currently preparing a production checklist where tasks might be 5 minute duration. Not sure how to pull this off from a UX perspective...

Adding tasks to TC is definitely something we want to do. There are a few precursors to adding tasks (like https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-2442 and https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-2891) that prevent us from jumping on it right away. I.e. without having calendars formally inside spaces and having more control over how you view calendar content we would need to come up with all sorts of inelegant ways around how we decide/control which tasks appear in which calendars.

FYI, we're currently working on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-186 (one of our most requested features) and will wrap up work on it soon.

It really makes sense to see the task we have created into calendars, otherwise I have to duplicate the info creating tasks and also creating calendar events.

Yeap, I was confused that this is not obvious. We work as IT in production company, our team (IT) uses JIRA to manage tasks, but management would like to use Confluence to collaborate on some idea/projects. Without this feature getting whole picture of tasks (from IT + action items + directly placed on calendar). Very important feature

Same here, putting team calenders on hold until then. Also looking into alternatives, as time pressures makes calender overview of combined taskes very important.

Why is this not a feature? Tasks can have dates, calendars show things that are happening on those dates. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!

Not having this doesn't make any sense. A Team Calendar is primarily made up with tasks and those tasks are created around your space so why can't these appear in the calendar that you can toggle on/off? This should be basic functionality and prioritized quickly. Otherwise, calendars have very little value actually. Please advise.

It would be great to have the due dates of tasks show up in team calendars. It would make it easy to track for department and personal use.

Same here. I'm trying to track down my purchase plans with Decision Register and Tasks but nothing is synchronized with Team Calendar, even if there's a calendar dedicated to the space.
