Topic Search Function Doesn't Work

When testing the latest version of Confluence Questions (1.1.0), I tried searching for topics from the topics screen.

A few things I noticed:
1- When typing in a topic to search for, all topics disappear and you must hit enter in order for any search results to appear. This is unlike the other search functions in the site, where results begin to appear as you type.
2- The topic I searched for now appears as a featured topic, which wasn't my intention. Also, there is no way to then watch this now "featured" topic without clicking on the topic and then clicking watch from the next screen, resulting in a bad user experience.
3- If I try to search for another topic that I know is already an existing topic, it does not pull this topic up to the top of the topics displayed. Instead, the same list of topics appears in the same order.
