      Customer has requested the ability to be able to comment anonymously whilst being logged in.

      Hopefully this will encourage more open and frank feedback.

      This capability should be able to be turned on/off from the Conf or space level administration.

            Hi chuckv, thanks for your feedback, I dont see this becoming a feature which helps the use of Confluence. Our product is built on a foundation of openness and transparency, such a feature would greatly undermine these principles.

            This issue has been open a very long time with low level of interest from our customers.

            We have no plans to implement this feature any time soon, so have closed the issue as "Won't Fix".

            Hi,

            This feature request sees to be ope quite a long time with no serious response.

            We like to have this functionality also and irrelevant of the way authentication occurs (internally or externally). This will get more employees responding to delicate matters/topics...

            I just received the same request, my Director wants the ability to change the 'feedback' on a page level so the 'Add Comment' function for that page would be anonymous , as well as the follow up threads/comments
