Confluence can't display digital signature in a PDF file.

      Tested with : File Preview Marco & View File Macro (PDF)

      Sample PDF file with Digital Signature used for testing: SampleSignedPDFDocument.pdf

      The screenshot above is showing both File Preview Marco & View File Macro. The digital signature can be seen in the thumbnail. But not visible in 'preview' mode. See screenshot below :

            We are experiencing this issue in Version 8.5.17 currently latest LTS.
            Sometimes it's visible sometimes not. We weren't able to pinpoint the exact cause.

            It's really important for us to let our users see if a document has been digitally signed.

            We are one of the premium customer and almost .25 million users are already using the applications. Day by day the request and priority for this bug reporting is increased on our end.

            Kindly consider and provide an update for the bug fix release.

            Really annoying to make it mandatory to download the document to be sure it is digitally signed.
            Behavior seen on:

            • 6.2.4
            • 7.8.3
            • 7.9.1

            Does this happen on ALL PDF's with signatures or do some work saved in older PDF versions? I have a user that brought this to my attention today.

            Can this issue be resolved please?  It is having an impact on our company audits.

            I have found the same problem. This is very problematic for our company when we are audited for our ISO compliance. The person in front of the auditor needs to know to download the file and then open it in adobe or Chrome directly. If that is not remembered then the auditor gets very upset about us using unapproved documents.
