File preview does not work consistently on IE 11

      Summary

      Previewing of Excel and Word documents on IE 11, when we preview the file, it opens without issues the first time. Close the preview and attempt to preview again, and it keeps loading and never comes up.

      Environment

      This affects 6.0.0-OD-2016.08.2-0008

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Login to Confluence using IE 11
      2. Attach a XLS file on the page
      3. Add the file to on the page
      4. Save page
      5. Try to preview this file multiple times.

      Expected Results

      The file preview should work consistently each time we try to preview the files

      Actual Results

      The Preview does not load for the second time. It works only for First time.

      Notes

      This is not encountered on the current Cloud version OR the latest Confluence server version

      Workaround

      Use compatibility mode to IE 10
