    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

I am creating pages using the REST APIs POST to /rest/api/content filling them automatically with preliminary content.

Before really releasing the page to the public I'd like to manually review it and tweak it. Only after that I want to release it.

However, when using the above mentioned REST API POST the page is available to the public immediately. All space watchers are informed and I have no chance to review it before releasing.

When doing it manually I can create the page and during editing I can restrict access to myself until the content is fixed and ready for release.

I'd like to have a way to hand over the access restriction together with the call to create the page so that I can silently create a new page and watchers are not notified.
