Cannot link to local files from within Confluence

      Steps to re-produce.

      1. Login to Confluence.
      2. Open any page in wiki.
      3. Click on Insert Link> Web link > local file path
      4. Save
      5. Click on the link

      I tried installing browser add-on as suggested by atlassian but it didn't work. (Firefox with LocalLink plugin but works fine on Chrome)
