      Problem Definition

      Currently the display and edit URLs are different in Confluence.

      The display URLs have "disp" in the url path.
      Example Display URL: http://domain/disp/spacekey/pagename

      The URL for editing pages:
      Example Edit URL: http://domain/pages/editpage.action?pageId=1234567

      Suggested Solution

      I'm suggesting for the edit action to be changed to http://domain/spacekey/pagename where edit can be a RESTful AJAX action (HTTP verb): spacekey/page/pagename action: POST
