Importing an XML Backup into an Oracle Database may pause until the Confluence Logo is clicked

      Environment
      1. Oracle Database 11g 11.2.0.1.0, using appropriate JDBC driver
      2. JVM 1.7.0_51
      3. Installed atlassian-confluence-5.7-OD-42-046
      Steps to Reproduce
      1. Install Confluence, connect to the database and restore the database backup
      2. The restore proceeds until 90% - the status is "Loading Entities"
      3. Additionally, the most recent log entries in the log file are similar to the following:
        2015-04-08 12:53:51,941 WARN [Long running task: Importing data] [activeobjects.confluence.backup.LoggingRestoreProgressMonitor] endRestore Completed restoring Active Objects Backup.
         -- referer: http://localhost:8090/setup/setup-restore-progress.action?taskId=2b07c960-b1e6-4d59-b87e-88e664bba7d2 | url: /setup/longrunningtaskxml.action | userName: anonymous | action: longrunningtaskxml
        
      4. Click the "Confluence" logo causes the page to load and
      Symptoms
      1. There are no errors in atlassian-confluence.log, catalina.out or on the page
      2. I've left an instance over 40 minutes with no activity
      Related Problems

      This may be related to the following bug reports, however I was not able to replicate these scenarios:

      1. AO-510
      2. CONF-35969
      Workaround

      Click on the Confluence Logo, to see if the setup completes after a few moments

            I have the same problem. 

            OS: CentOS 7

            DB: MySQL 5.6.40

            Confluence: 6.11.2

            MySQL Connector: 5.1.47

             

            The restore proceeds until 90% - the status is "Loading Entities". Clicking the logo doesn't help.

            Any tentative date for the same, when it'll be fixed.

            Also, the scenario can be replicated with Oracle 12C (12.1.0.2)
