Ability to Hide the People Directory from certain Users or Groups

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Confluence does not have an option to hide the People Directory from certain user group. Some organization might not want their staff information (position, email) to be visible to all user.

      The user can hide the people directory by customising the layout as provided here however this is inconvinient and unintutive for most of the user.
