    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Background of the request
Currently, Confluence does not have the function/macro display only attachment from Jira. Confluence only have a macro called Attachments where it will show only Confluence attachment.

      Example
User would like to display all attachment of a specific project in Conlunence page

[CONFSERVER-36786] Display Jira attachment in Confluence

+1.  The doc is a child of the Jira object, the Confluence page is a friendly interface into Jira objects.  For example: Jira Task-01 = "Document xyz123 Configuration", Confluence page = "System Configurations".

I've been tasked to find or create this functionality.  It would be nice if a confluence macro would show the attachments of a linked Jira issue

we would like to be able to display on a Confluence page, an attachment stored in a Jira ticket as long as the ticket is accessible by the user

This would be really useful since other attributes from an issue are accessible but not this up to now.

            Hi All!

we are going to use confluence as our qm-system and we build up our approval concept with JIRA.
So we need to display all valid Jira issues with attachments.

            Thanks a lot.

This addition of this macro capability would streamline my confluence document creating process. The attachments section of JIRA should link to confluence just the same as the existing JIRA Issue Macro does. We would want these attachments embedded into our documents rather than displayed as links. Please let me know if the addition of a macro such as this is likely or not.

            Thank you.

            Hi All!

Could you please provide more details on this macro, your requirements, ideas, and so on.

We get interested in this, so now we are trying to identify potential problems and use cases which this macro will cover and features it will have.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, or just drop an email to vrutkevich@stiltsoft.com. I will contact you immediately.

            Thanks.

            Best Regards,

This would be very helpful for our team as well. We're trying to minimize duplication of effort as much as possible between JIRA and Confluence, and having the ability to update mocks in one place and have them propagate to the other would be extremely helpful and save us from easy oversights or mistakes.

            Hi Team,

Could you please confirm whether there have any plan to implement this request.

We are having many attachments in a JIRA per issues. It is not possible to copy the link of each attachment and update it in confluence.

            Regards,

            Anju

The idea is to have a Confluence attachment macro which works the same as the current macro, but instead of Confluence attachments it would show documents attached to an issue, or all the attachments in a project.
