Ability to make the results of the jira issue macro static

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

The only way to do this now is by

      1. adding the macro to a page and copy/paste the result in another page (this does not work properly with IE)
      2. making an Excel export and copy/paste the required rows and columns.

It would be easier if you just can use the Jira macro and add a tick to the box "Static".
The option to select your required fields must be available too.

End of sprint reports are available in Jira. In Confluence, however, once the sprint ends, the Agile gadgets are no longer useful. It would be great to persist these (right now, your best bet in Confluence is to take a screenshot of your burndown before you close your sprint).

Being able to fix a point in time on the Agile gadgets in Confluence, for example, so you can review them months later, would be great.

This is something a lot of our clients would use. JIRA filtering is very powerful, and a lot of our enterprise clients want to have "point in time" reports, actually more than they would want dynamic JIRA issue lists to show up in Confluence. The report blueprint falls short in that it's a standalone page and can't be customized.

Think of meeting notes, or stand-ups. A static report would allow one to use a filter to identify issues to discuss in a meeting, and then use that same filter to insert that list into meeting notes stored in confluence.

The only options available is the Jira report blueprint. This generates an overview of issues that can be made static. See screenshot.
This report has no option to add other fields to the overview.
