WebDAV Plugin does not work with Firefox and MacOS

I am unable to edit a spreadsheet (uploaded using the Office Excel macro) in Confluence using the WebDAV launcher.

Whenever I click the link to "Edit Document" link, nothing happens. I have also tried the following to get the issue resolved:

• Uninstall and reinstall the WebDAV launcher plugin
• Try opening in Google Chrome (not compatible)
• Configuring WebDAV manually and associating the xlsx extension with the Excel binary. When I do this, Excel does open, but it does not open the file for editing
