      Currently there is no method in the (now deprecated) API list that enables copies the entire page tree/hierarchy. Confluence CLI Tools and Copy Page Tree add on helps to achieve this by combining a few methods together but this causes numerous notification to be sent to the watchers of the space.

      Since a new REST API for Confluence is in development; it would be nice if a method for copy page is included so that users don't have to rely on third party add on for assistance.
