When working in Confluence there used to be the possibility to create tasks without being in edit mode of a page. In order to get this funtionality back here the UserStory/Featurerequest:
I as ProductOwner working with Confluence want the possibility to add tasks to pages without being in the "edit" mode of a page in order to be quicker while discussing several pages (User Stories) with the Team or future Users.
Description:
- Ideally I would write a comment using @user//duedate and select anything indicating, that this is a task, that should be created.
- The tasks should have a connection to the page, where I added the comment/task
- If the task is assigned to a user, it should appear on a users personal task list
- The task should show up in an overview for the page/pagetree/space, that contains the relevant tasks (could in a first step be realised with the "task report plugin").
Tests:
write "@user//duedate: add this task to the page" in a comment to a page and indicate as task
--> the task shows up on top of the page (not necessarily within the page content)
--> the task is shown in the "task tab" of the @user
--> the task is shown in a "task tab" of the space (new tab for spacedetails) with reference to the page
write "add this task to the page" in a comment to a page and indicate as task
--> the task shows up on top of the page (not necessarily within the page content)
--> the task is shown in a "task tab" of the space (new tab for spacedetails) with reference to the page
write "@user//duedate: add this task to the page" in a comment and DO NOT indicate as task
--> comment is not shown on top of page
--> comment is not in personal tasklist of @user
--> comment is not shown in "task tab" of the space
