Description
As a project manager I want to be able to report on JIRA issues with a custom layout which lists more information than just the key, summary and status.
This feature is very similar to the table view where additional fields that are displayed in Confluence can be selected. However, I do not want to use a table but a different layout.
For this reason, I have created a user macro in Confluence that takes the JIRA issue key as its input parameter. The user macro then builds a custom table to show the JIRA issue along with more details. Unfortunately, Confluence does not create a link to the JIRA issue in this case although the JIRA macro is used inside the user macro.
With this limitation, we cannot use Confluence and JIRA for requirements tracking as planned because we do not get the automatic update that a JIRA issue (i.e. requirement) has got a reference in the corresponding requirements document in Confluence.
