A question related to this. There's an Atlassian comment on this thread - https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/12265453/import-from-mediawiki-to-confluence-5.7 - from Feb '15, that suggests that it works for Confluence 5.x. Can anyone clarify?

To be clear what we are suggesting here is to remove the "import from another wiki" option from the admin screens in Confluence?

This is not improving on an existing function; it's flat out something that shouldn't be in Confluence. Moved this into a Bug from Improvement to better reflect the status of this issue.
