I tried to embed a ppt and also converted it to pdf format in order to test. When I embed them on a page, it is missing some slides and also some parts are missing from the displayed slides too... I tried it with some other ppt's too but the outcome is the same... Can anyone update me whats happening here???

Thank you everyone for your feedback. In a recent release of Confluence (5.7) we introduced a new way to embed, preview and collaborate on files. This new experience does not require you to insert a macro first, but automatically embeds a preview of the file if you upload it. In addition, it supports many more file types and additional features which are not available in the View File macro. All future efforts on improving our files experience will be on the new solution.
This bug does not exist in our new file experience and we encourage you to transition your embedded view file macro into an embedded file to make use of the new file functionality. Given that the bug does not occur in the new file experience, we will be closing this issue.

On Tuesday, after I deleted and embedded the PDF/PPT, I could see the content properly.

But from Wednesday until now, it is broken again so I could not see the content.

I think this is a huge issue so please help to take look on that as soon as possible

            Regards,
            Vy

When I worked around, I notice some notes:

First, I used the On-Demand package then insert PDF/PPT marco, the content is loaded properly
Then, I migrated data from On-Demand package to Self Host package (use Backup function) then the content is not loaded
If the delete the attachment, then add the new one in Self Host package, the content is loaded properly

Please help to solve this issue. It will take me a lot of time if I have to manually delete then add the attachment in the Self Host package

This is a huge issue for our (quite large) customer as they have many files that they want to upload and to use Confluence as an intranet, but they won't be able to because of this bug.
