We've had a few customers ask for the ability to create their own page blueprints, including the ability to add custom variables to the form / wizard that appears when creating certain blueprints (e.g. decisions).

If you are going to vote for or comment on this issue, we'd love to hear about your specific use case – why you'd find this useful? What kinds of custom variables would you add? What types of blueprints would you create?

            [CONFSERVER-31569] Blueprint Builder

            On DataCenter

We want to add a list, to choose the level the decision was made at (each Individual Team, ART and Business Owner)

We would also like to add a field for the Date/Time Location  of the decision (or, more appropriately, the meeting/event that the decision was made at)

We want these to show up in the Template when we click "Create a Decision" from the macro, and we want these fields to automatically display in the index on the Decisions Log page.

            Can't believe this isn't a feature yet...also on cloud

The ability to customise the blueprint wizard would be so helpful. we are trying to template up an Idea Hypothesis form in Confluence, but the customer wants some mandatory info, ideally in a selectable format.

Plus, in general, the ability to create our own wizards with company specify info would be awesome.

I would also like to be able to have multiple versions of a blueprint available (or be able to clone a blueprint into a personal template). In my specific case I would like to be able to use the meeting blueprint (and thus the new editor features it contains) for different meetings that need slightly different document formats.

My specific use case is for the Decision blueprint.  We classify each decision based on a list of defined option.  So implementing a dropdown list on the creation form would be perfect.  This would function the same way as the Status attribute, where the user must choose an option from the dropdown menu.  The selected value will carry over onto the actual page.  Without the dropdown, we cannot expect user to be able to type in an exact option name in a freeform text field.

I would also like to see this implemented! Where is the sense of being able to add custom variables and then not use them in the form?

I am also interested in being able to add custom fields to the form. How do we get this more attention it has been open for 6 years...

I'd like the ability to modify the decision logs to add additional fields.  As well as, create something similar for a risk register.   I see this request has been open for several years.  Is there an update on its status?

Really need the ability to create a template that mimics the OOTB templates and blueprints.  For example, there is the decision log.  We want to create a custom log that is not based on decisions without losing the original blueprint template.  Copying the contents and starting a new page results in a completely different experience than with the out of the box.  This makes it difficult to use this tool if templates/blueprints must be created by the authors of the product.  If the authors could not come up with the specific use case (and how could they), then the customers are unable to use the tool to fulfill their needs.

I would like to ability to modify the decision blueprint to add fields that suit the use of raising motions within a board meeting.

Fields to include would be things like, who proposed, who seconded, any opposed, motion passed/denied, etc.
