    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We are regularly using the "Meeting Notes" feature, which allows to have a Content Report Table listing all meeting notes from a given project. We noticed that the order of meeting notes does not correspond to the order of the meetings, if we do not explicitly sort by the page title column (all page titles start with the yyyy-mm-dd date of the meeting).
It would be great if there was the possibility to preconfigure the sorting state in the Content Report Table macro. (The default could stay the same, but for meeting notes, I would prefer to have the page title be sorted.)

[CONFSERVER-31438] Content Report Table macro should have sorting parameter

            +1 Atlassian!

In fact, it was finally and very recently implemented for the cloud version according to CONFCLOUD-31438.

Now, of course we all wonder if it will also get into the Server and Data Center product?

This should have been a feature in v0.000001 of this spec.

            Make this happen yesterday already.

            +1.
The original request was to enable a sort by default, which would be very good. But in fact even the alphabetical sort ascending and descending is not working correctly when pages are named "YYYY-MM-DD-xxx", which is a very common practice.

For now I gave up using the "Content Report Table" macro and use the basic "Children Display" macro which does have a working option "Sort Children by Title" and "Reverse Sort". Please implement the same thing in "Content Report Table" macro: default sort order, and sort order customizable by clicking on the column title, once for alphabetical sort, a second click for reverse order.

I'm sorry, this was reported in 2013 and you're STILL GATHERING INTERESTS????????????? Solve this already, NOW!

Being able to order the titles as required would be a very helpful feature to have.  I would personally love the functionality that is already in Jira, where you can move a sub-task up or down with the arrows as required.

It would be very helpful to have the option to sort by "Created Date" in the Content Report Table to keep things in chronological order

Hi, there is no need for this feature if Atlassian repairs the bug, that sorting on column Title does not work. By detault, the meeting blueprint adds date YYYY-MM-DD at the beginning of meeting note page name. However Content table macro does not sort in the column correctly. Page tree macro sorts correctly.

Workaround: try tu use _ instead of - as a date separator (YYYY_MM_DD) in the blueprint settings. Or no separator (YYYYMMDD). Seems to work.

Now in 2019 and still would like this feature.
