Confluence HTML Macros plugin throws an exception while enabling HTML Macros

      Confluence HTML Macros plugin (by Atlassian, v 2.0.2) is installed on Confluence 3.4.9.

      While trying to enable the HTML-include macro (to get

      {html-include}

      working), the exception given below is thrown.

      Error retrieving dependency of class: com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.macros.html.HtmlIncludeMacro. Missing class: com/atlassian/confluence/macro/Macro

      No further info is mentioned anywhere.

      Is there any dependency that is supposed to be met? The plugin jar was downloaded from Atlassian marketplace itself.

            Hi There

            Firstly let me apologies for the lateness of my response. Unfortunately there is no longer any support for Confluence 3.4.9 paid or otherwise so I'd urge you upgrade to the latest (or later) version of Confluence.

            Because this issue relates to an older version of Confluence, one that is no longer supported I'm going to close this issue out as timed out.

            Regards

            Thanks for the quick response, Steve!

            We have only Confluence 3.4.9 in our environment, so I cannot try replicating on other versions.

            Also, is even paid support not an option for Confluence 3.4.9?

            Thanks!

            Hi ksvrgh

            Thanks for raising this issue. Have you been able to replicate this issue on a more recent version of Confluence? 3.4.9 is no longer supported and as such I'd strongly advise you to upgrade to the latest version 5.2.4.

            If you could let me know if this helps to resolve you issue that would be much appreciated.

            Regards
