Description
When disable Quick Navigation, the autocomplete would not work for some part of Confluence. This include when you move issue and in the Advanced window, although the page is there, it would show drop down with "No matching pages found." or "No matching spaces found" when you try to search although the pages or spaces is there.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create 2 pages named page 1 and page 2
- Disable Quick Navigation in General Configuration
- Go into page 1 and select "Move" option
- In the "Move Page" dialog - Advanced option, copy paste the name "page 1" and paste in the full name of the page
- The New Parent Page will give drop down "No matching pages found."
- When you click move, the page will actually move.
Actual Result:
It would show drop down with "No matching pages found." or "No matching spaces found"
Expected Result:
It would be better to do one of the following so it wouldn't give user the wrong direction:
- Show error message that Quick Navigation is disabled
- Hide the drop down box.
- Provide user an option to search with message such as "Search for XXXXX page"
Notes:
The same behaviour applies when you move the pages to a new space. Tested with Confluence demo page as following:
